I haven't really seen Steve Martin in anything other than the Father of the Bride films, so I was keen to see what many say is his funniest film.
I was disappointed while watching it - the plot meanders all over the place because it's clearly designed as little more than a series of opportunities for gags. This makes the film drag on a bit and I was watching the clock towards the end.
It gets 3 stars from me because it redeems itself with the sheer quantity and stupidity of its comic lines, especially in the second half of the movie. Definitely worth watching just to hear some of the randomness.
