A very hit-or-miss loose collection of skits. This is a bit of a cult classic. Steve Martin is very bizarre in this film. Richard Pryor/Dave Chappell-type use of the "N-bomb" scene well into the movie is pretty funny.
My recommendation: if you find yourself laughing in the first 15 minutes, stick it through. If not, might as well cut your losses and put another movie in.
