Review of The Jerk (1979) by Shane C — 31 Aug 2008
This is an creative and intriguing story about a happy-go-lucky loser. The problems are the acting and the title. Martin's acting is a little too sarcasmtic. As for the title, I just dont find Martin's character a jerk.
He only cheated on his first girlfriend and he left his wife when he became bankrupt. I guess the the story eases in the jerk factor but because of this, I really dont think Martin's character is a jerk.
