This is a funny chick-flick. I'm not that well versed with Jane Austen as I have only read one book of hers (Pride and Prejudice), but I have seen all the movies that Colin Firth has acted in. So the Jane Austen references to Persuasion, Mansfield Park, etc.
were lost on me. The cast has the chemistry and charm to make you love then ... especially Hugh Dancy who plays Grigg; he's definitely a hottie. I'd recommend this movie to all you Jane Austen fans out there.
There's more to her books than just being fiction.
