Review of The Jane Austen Book Club (2007) by Patrick D — 30 Sep 2010
Subjected to this piece of drivel at a girl's house. Self-appreciating, pointless, phony, stupid, corny, annoying. I kept thinking "who in the fuck had the balls to pitch this, much less get it made.
" Made The Notebook look like Chinatown. This cast truly needed a Holiday In Cambodia. Later read a review which said, "One doesn't have doesn't have to be familiar with the works of Jane Austen to realize this movie is a piece of shit.
" Most discouraging part? A 65% approval-rating on RT.
