Review of The Jacket (2005) by Eric A — 13 Jun 2008
This movie had a lot of potential but what seems like it is going to be a dark, disturbing movie turns into an afterschool special at the 90 minute mark. It is not that I do not agree with the theme of the film, it's just that it has been done before and done better.
The performances really are quite good; Brody plays his part to the hilt and proves why he is one of our greatest actors. I the end I just felt ripped off. Many loose ends on this one too...
