Review of The Jackal (1997) by Matt R — 27 Mar 2008
Richard Gere can't act, and his pitiful attempt at an Irish accent is nothing short of laughable, but surprisingly he doesn't completely ruin this movie. Willis' constant shifting of disguises showcases a bit of his versatility as an actor, and is the major redeeming factor of the flick.
The mediocrity of this movie lies is the fact that, although the film brings you to hate the villain, you never get around to cheering for the hero.
