Review of The Jackal (1997) by Jon A — 27 Jul 2013
Another re-make that refuses to believe anything ever happens outside the continental united states. Also loses points for Gere's Irish accent, not to mention portraying an IRA terrorist as an imprisoned "soldier" who single-handedly saves the day.
Just about everything else works OK as a glitzy, big-budget thriller and there is much fun to be had tracking Willis' extensive selection of wigs.
