The Italian Job is a superb and fun action film that delivers loads of goodies for Heist fans. This movie is about a team of high class thieves who are seeking revenge for the death of their mentor and friend after one of their crew members betrayed them by robbing the gold that they once stole from Venice with the help of their mentor's daughter the group makes plans and assumptions in stealing the gold their old comrade stole from them and to get even as well.

I seriously love this film and I use to remember watching it back in my elementary years I think I watched it two or three times in TV and yet when I bought the DVD and watched it again I still love it.

I heard this is a remake of the original 1969 film so I can't compare it to the original since I never watched the original Italian Job but I would dare say this is a great Heist film and it is one of my personal favorite Heist films since Now You See Me.

What makes The Italian Job a great film is that the film has a superb plot and the film has a tight script thanks to the screenwriters Donna and Wayne Powers they created an outstanding Heist movie that is full of fun moments that you will never forget and this is one of those Heist movies that deliver a strong execution in the Heist genre.

The other highlights of the movie is that the film's action scenes are superb and amazing and there are no digital or CGI effects everything is seriously done in a proper and practical way and there are loads of fun and memorable moments in the film that everyone will never forget(The opening heist sequence, The chase scenes with the Mini coopers and the outstanding Helicopter scene in the finale).

The other things I like about this film are the characters and all of the characters are believable and likable and you actually care for them and some of them also make you laugh and Seth Green's character in my opinion is by far the funniest character in the film("I am the Napster.

")plus one of the other highlights of this film is the soundtrack by Bourne series composer John Powell and last but not least Wally Pfister's explosive and mind blowing cinematography and I love those beautiful shots of Venice and the snowy mountains in the beginning of the film and Wally Pfister seriously did a good job with his work on this film a lot before he worked with Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Trilogy.

Now the acting is amazing and outstanding and I seriously love the performances of the casts in this film and all of them seriously did a good job with their work on this film. The five main leads(Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Seth Green, Mos Def and Jason Statham)did an amazing job with their work on this film the same can also be said to Donald Sutherland who delivered a fine performance in the film even though his character died in the beginning of the film and Edward Norton did an amazing job with his performance as the main antagonist in the movie so far everyone did a superb job with their performances in the film.

Director F. Gary Gray did an amazing job with his work on this film and he seriously created a fun yet entertaining Heist movie that has loads of memorable scenes that you will never forget and his directing is flawless and extremely focused plus balanced as well and I hope he makes the sequel The Brazilian Job some time and hopefully it will be just as good as this film.

Overall The Italian Job is a superb and amazing Heist film that is both entertaining and fun at the same time. This movie gets a 10/10. Please bring in The Brazilian Job Mr. Gary Gray.
