Review of The Italian Job (2003) by Lydia G — 29 Nov 2011
Not a smart, well acted film by any means. 'The Italian Job' throws a ton of Box Office bait combining action, humor and sex with popular actors. The script is very formulaic. In the end though, it's a fun film that you can turn your brain off while watching.
A little too 'Gone in Sixty Seconds'/'Armageddon' and not enough 'Bourne Identity' I feel. It's hard to take a film seriously when it seems the actors aren't.
