Review of The Italian Job (2003) by Allan T — 29 Jun 2012
Yet another case of the Americans mistakenly believing that they can do it better than everyone else, this film falls well short of the original just as the majority of other US remakes do.
Face facts, Kath and Kim was depolrable, Sanford and Son was dismal, The Office went on too long and The Italian Job was simply insulting.
When will the U.S learn that the are not the centre of the universe, that they often can't do a better job and that they'd get far more from importing something worth while than from ripping it off, gutting it and falsley presenting it as their own idea.
