While it, unfortunately, doesn't really qualify as a major classic, The Italian Job is a goofy, silly but charming and funny crime comedy, with a well developed and interesting character that nobody else, except for Michael Caine, could play any better.
There are many fun car crashes, and the car stunts are impressive. Good film, classic Michael Caine movie. Recommended !!
