Review of The Italian (2005) by Apo C — 26 Jul 2007
It was unexpected joyful movie. I was really happy dat VANYA could find his mom at last. I thought it would be a sad ending, but its not, which is GOOD. He is incredibly clever and lucky. The whole process of finding his way to reach his real mother is well-plotted.
Actually, its a bit unrealistic, just a bit TOO LUCKY in someway. I really appreciate VANYA's way of acting, it was just good enough, to play as a kid with mature thought and in finding a balance between a chance to get a good family to begin a new life or to find his real mother.
The thoughtful kid chose the later. Overall, its GOOD, and not like other SAD stories abt orphan :).
