Review of The Italian (2005) by Douglas W — 06 Apr 2008
The child in the film is excellent, especially considering some of the over-acting of one or two of his adult colleagues. The scenery is striking, the plot simple and effective, and the heart of film strong and hopeful.
It is sometimes possible to forget just how young the boy is when dealing with the challenges laid out before him.
