Review of The Italian (2005) by Tim D — 10 Apr 2008
Hidden gem about an orphan boy running away from a good future in Italy for a chance at being reunited with his birth mother. First off, the boy who plays Vanya is the cutest kid you'll ever see. Secondly, this film boasts a fine ensemble cast of characters, some good and some bad, who enter Vanya's lonely journey and exit just as fast, but all having a profound effect on the boy and the viewer.
Great film!
