Watching this again, I forgot how bad the movie is. Itâ(TM)s just sort of⦠there. I havenâ(TM)t seen the earlier Dr. Moreau films, but with a compelling story, itâ(TM)s a shame that it was handled so poorly.
After watching it this time, I guess I never really knew the problems that happened during the making of the movie. Thewlis tried but didnâ(TM)t really have much to work with, Kilmer was all over the place, and Brando while memorable should have been in it more.
Itâ(TM)s just a really sloppy movie that could have been so much more.
