How many ads can you fit in one film? lets ask Michael Bay. Although extremely uneven this film is entertaining and has moments of intimacy and real content. It's major drawback is the typical Michael Bay formula of action over acting.
He never gives the stars a chance to shine... Scarlett and Ewen have some good movements. There are many points where the shot should have stayed longer on the stars to capture some emotion but instead they are cut off and followed by a car chase or something of equal effect.
The clone dialog is purposely flat at dull but often there is a chance for something more to be said that goes awry. In the end this film has potential to be great but poor formulaic filmmaking drags it to mediocre entertainment with moments of real drama and emotion.
