Review of The Island (2006) by Jacob M — 17 Jul 2013
Michael Bay usually comes out with big blockbusters that are practically just explosions and people running for 2 and a half hours. But with this one, he stepped away from that and decided to actually ask a couple of interesting questions.
Well, it was not for the better because although The Island may have an interesting concept, it is completely squandered by horrible acting, a terribly written script, a degrading second half, and just pure boredom throughout the movie, even near the end during the action sequences.
Ultimately, The Island is just another failure from the infamous Michael Bay.
