Review of The Island (2005) by Tyler V — 11 Oct 2011
"The Island" is one of those movies where it starts out looking decent at the least, and then goes straight downhill from the middle. It's riddled with weak plot points, terrible cinematographic choices, and over-the-top chase scenes with impossible physics; but what can you expect from a movie done by Michael Bay? This is a disappointment and definitely could have done better if done by a director who knew what he was doing.
