Review of The Island (2005) by Tori H — 09 May 2013
It's a very poorly made movie. The concept was great but it fell apart the more the movie went on. There was way more complication then there needed to be. There were cliches and plot holes and illogical choices.
My god were the plot holes heavy. Not just in the sci-fi ideas, but also in the choices and events that occurred that human nature and laws would say never could happen given the circumstances. If I listed it all, it would go on to an estimated 20-30 major flaws.
The events just became too absurd by the end. It defied the laws of physics at times of action that should have killed them. Anyways, I give it a better rating for the effort and because I still really enjoyed it.
