Review of The Island (2005) by Suzi G — 03 Apr 2014
This is probably my favorite film by director Michael Bay. It possesses his usual flash and style, but it also asks a number of questions dealing with the.
Moral and ethical issues revolving around the ever expanding world of science, namely human cloning. While the concept itself is interesting, the story really doesn't delve as deep into it as I would have liked, but for what it is, the story is quite well told. The acting is great, the effects awesome, and it definitely provokes some thought.
