Review of The Island (2005) by Kelsey K — 14 Apr 2013

I really did like this movie. I saw it on TV a while ago and decided to rent it. I thought that the story was cool and the characters were interesting but what lost me is the action scenes. Leave it up to Bay to say "lets make a huge action scene where there are a lot of cars blowing up and running into things and guns shooting everywhere" and add many things that really have no point. The story would have been great without that and maybe they could have added some much needed depth to the story.

Over all a good time and a lot of action scenes.
