Review of The Iron Rose (1973) by Bill B — 11 Jan 2017
I was able to finally give this early Jean Rollin film a spin via TCM recording, and I would have to say that while I like his later dreamy erotica, this one left me a bit cold. You essentially follow a couple around for a night that they spend trapped in a graveyard, alternately screwing, arguing and generally letting the creepy surroundings drive them a bit crazy, and it ultimately doesn't add up to a whole helluva lot.
