Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Frances H — 14 Jan 2013
Some critics thought it unfair that this film showed Margaret Thatcher in old age struggling with Alzheimer's, but as someone who has dealt with a loved one who suffered that disease, nothing can lessen the need to realize that even those with the strongest minds get it.
And old age is the time when we have the time to look back and reflect on our lives and actions. My score on this movie is not based on Meryl Streep's magnificent performance , but on the fact that I never really liked Margaret Thatcher.
