Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Dr. A — 09 Apr 2013
A biopic which, as most biopics, doesn't even resemble the person the flick intends to characterize, and although Meryl Streep was spot on and well deserved the Academy Award, the story is a piece of biased B.
S. trying to give the Thatchers a new light on the vile wretched people they were and are, this meaning the twins Carol and Mark Thatcher, an overt and unrepentant racist and a gun runner who was never on screen, but who was [in South Africa] during the time he was attempting a coup in Equatorial Guinea.
Jimmy Savile screwed minors... Margaret Thatcher screwed miners. Both died without even a day in court.
