Review of The Iron Lady (2011) by Natalie M — 23 Jun 2014
The Iron Lady is charming, splendid and a loyal and faithful portrait of Margaret Thatcher, British first lady. Meryl Streep surprise in his doubtful and at the same time true and exciting role. It was nice to see Meryl Streep taking home her third Oscar, however, a little disappointed that she had 'stolen' the statuette of Viola Davis, who was very close to actually go up there and pick up the statuette for 'The Help'.
I was amazed by the beautiful passages in this film. The whole life of Margaret, since its application to the present. The direction, commanded magnificent by Phyllida Lloyd. A sensational movie, the crew also did a show, and highlighted the impressive makeup techniques, which took the Oscar in the same category.
