Review of The Iron Giant (1999) by Maddox J — 21 Apr 2018
This is a childhood favorite, but that's not the only reason I like it. The animation is nearly perfect, especially of the Giant himself. The setting in the Cold War is interesting. This movie isn't flawless by any means.
The plot isn't the greatest. The message isn't always clear. But there is a lot of symbolism throughout the film, which I enjoy. A solid watch for a family, but this movie has a special place in my heart.
