Review of The Iron Giant (1999) by Danny K — 22 Jun 2012
The general plot has been done time and time again, but this movie is a shining example of this type of story at its best. The animation is very well done and a throwback to cartoons of the 60s. It hits the fine line of being appropriate to both kids and adults without being dumbed down or pandering to either.
Definitely a classic; watch it if you haven't already.
