I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of The Irishman. OK, the age-rectifying CGI wasn't convincing - even off-putting at times - but otherwise it is a brilliantly made, engrossing film with superb performances all-round.
I can't vouch for it's historical accuracy, but who can? Joe Pesci deserves all the plaudits coming his way, he was mesmerising.
