Review of The Irishman (2019) by Ahmedaiman1999 — 28 Nov 2019
Scorsese has never done what he does best in a more mature, sumptuous, confident, sophisticated and immensely profound way. I have absolutely no clue how such sprawling epic can be exquisitely, and gracefully, controlled like that. Add to this a mournful quality that's woven deep down into the film's authentic soul.
Finally, Scorsese has made a film that I can easily give five stars.
