Review of The Ipcress File (1965) by Tim K — 12 Jun 2007
In a time when Bondmania was at its peak, Michael Caine's Harry Palmer was the antithesis of Bond in just about every way. There were no cool gadgets, no Aston Martin and no larger-than-life villain.
Just a great story featuring a spy in glasses and a beige trenchcoat.
