One of the greatest spy movies ever made. This is similar but also the complete opposite of the Bond movies. Both are undeniably British but The Ipcress File has no flash gadgets or spectacular stunts just good honest spy work.
Along with Alfie this is why Caine became an icon. When you watch it you realise how influential this film was by the ammount of scenes that look familiar, because this is where they came from originally.
