This film is everything I love about Brtish Cinema.
Not for Harry Palmer the shaken Martini's in lavish surroundings...no!
Instead a crappy flat, pay that wouldn't satisfy an anorexic mouse...and best of all looked down on by his bosses as somtheing unpleasnt they'd just stepped in.
Oh yes this is a spy story of a very un-James Bond variety.
