Review of The Invitation (2016) by Cade H — 15 Apr 2016

The Invitation is slow building thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the entirety of the film. As the dinner party between friends progresses it will have you guessing and wondering what is going on and what the big mystery behind the meet up is.

There are some intense gripping moments and then toward the end when things all come to a head, it gets very serious and a little bloody. I will say, I was a little let down by the big "reveal" but it did not take away from the movie much, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

If you want a tense, enthralling, 100 minutes The Invitation will give you just that and more.
