Review of The Invisible Woman (2013) by Daniel E — 25 Feb 2014
With great actors and an exciting subject matter, this should have been cinema gold, so it a shame to report that what we end up with is a far too stagey, limp work that really never ignites as it should.
Some moments of flair, good performances all round and a well conceived ending raise the bar slightly, but the bottom line is that Fiennes can and has done far better. A shame.
