Review of The Invisible War (2012) by Ty A — 01 Oct 2012
Very powerful and well done documentary on the the epidemic of military rape. I feel it covered every angle of this issue in a responsible, respectful, comprehensive manner. It reached an effective tone that was both informative, entertaining and moving.
Military rape is shockingly far more widespread in history and the culture of the military than you ever imagine. This doc shed light on the whys, and highlighted the incredible strength and effort of the survivors, their families, and other advocates to end this epidemic.
