Review of The Invisible War (2012) by Curtis B — 31 Jan 2013
I am in the middle of watching this documentary. It is staggering! Just abominably staggering! To listen to the investigators about these crimes is like how they handle poison after it is ingested. The US Armed Forces is a subculture of American society; and rape preventive measures in training of military personnel is simply NONEXISTENT.
Period. It's all reactionary: circling wagons, red tape paperwork--I mean who the heck comes up with these policies and procedures!!!! And now they want women in combat zones! Heck, based on this film--the enemy fighters would feel less frightening than one's own combat unit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like oxymoron with how this subculture of American society feels about women! I just don't get the hate-on for women.
I just don't have the braincells to understand. It makes absolutely NO SENSE WHATSOEVER! NONE! With so few educated enlistees able to pass basic tests--this is horrific. It's like, "Let's find all the ways and means to shoot ourselves in the foot and provide inadequate training, skill sets, education and basic human rights.
" Yikes!
