Review of The Invention of Lying (2009) by Jacqui B — 31 Mar 2011
An interesting thought experiment, but not thoroughly thought-out. Just because people can't lie doesn't mean they say everything on their mind. There is also a slight misunderstanding between speaking with certainty and telling the truth.
It also paints a world of truth as a dark and lonely place, but the world of lies seems filled with misleading words and empty promises. Interesting, but should have been more thought-out. Interesting and worth seeing.
