Review of The Invention of Lying (2009) by Sam D — 19 Dec 2012
Although some of the scripting is undeniably clever (mainly the abundance of truth) it is also the main flaw of the film. Aside from the truths, some things are slow and undeveloped at times. However, Jonah Hill and Jennifer Garner are brilliant, which is partly redeeming.
It's a shame Gervais couldn't put in a more 'Ghost Town' performance.
