Review of The Invention of Lying (2009) by Matt M — 11 Jan 2013
Disappointingly fails to hold up to the expectations that its intelligent and original premise would have you rooting for. Gervais can do better than this, and he has. It's also strange to see him opt for an unlikely romantic resolution, which is something he really never wrote himself into, and there is a reason for that - same reason why Peter Sellers should never have either.
