Review of The Invasion (2007) by George E — 16 Feb 2010
Never knew that this was a horror film, otherwise I would would have never bother renting it. I actually thought that this was a psychological/scfi-fi thriller, but it turned out to be a very horror film and I didn't like it like that.
It would've been a much better film if it didn't rely on disturbing (or scary) images. Cos that didn't scare me, but it disgusted me. The plot was even worse. It was so predictable and cliched. I can see why the critics hated this.
Btw, on a positive note, the score by John Ottman was almost-perfect. Nicole Kidman was brilliant, as usual.
