Review of The Invasion (2007) by Nick O — 03 Apr 2010
"Invasion" just sort of puts itself out there and flubs around. It could be "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" or a zombie film, but noting really ever materializes as the tension rises to a certain level and never gets over that point.
The editing and useless computer graphics neuter the pacing of the film in a way where in the end you think that the graphics are just completely unnecessary and the editing just leaves you scratching your head.
Nicole Kidman does her best as Daniel Craig is just in there for star power (but otherwise does very little,) in an extremely predictable science fiction yawner.
