Too bad. this could have been one heck of good movie. there was enough material and technology to have taken the original ibs theme to a better place. all it lacked was imagination, innovation, skill and competency.
sorely disappointing all around. maybe a nano parsec or two above battlefield earth, but well within the same galaxy.
