Not bad at all when judged on its own, but when compared to the original, its nothing special.
All of the paranioa is present and was fun to watch as the invasion escalates, but there was none of the creepiness and intensity which would have made this truly gripping.
Its a shame really as I liked Nicole in this, she carries the film most of the way and makes it watchable even when it starts to fall apart. Had she not been in it, then I get the feeling I would have been zoning out pretty early on.
Not bad thanks to Kidman, but theres only so much that she can do to save the film from floundering.
