Review of The Intouchables (2011) by Philip M — 25 Mar 2013
Though a very refreshing and entertaining take on the buddy comedy genre, I'd be lying if I said it didn't stick faithfully to the tired trope of "White people don't know to have fun, thank God there's a street smart black person willing to dedicate their life to teaching them" The film manages to avoid being dragged down due to the great writing, funny side characters, and excellent chemistry between the two main characters that had me wondering if there was a script or great ad-libbing.
