Review of The Intouchables (2011) by Nikki C — 23 Feb 2013
This was a really good movie, both for the attitude adjustment towards handicapped people and towards people from the margins of our society (the poor AND the rich) but also for just the story of an unlikely friendship.
the characters are endearing and authentic, it's funny and stays interesting. maybe some setting are less accessible for those not familiar with the French/Parisian society but I don't think that should be a problem if you're open to just accept things are not the same everywhere.
.not sure there is a dubbed version, which is a shame as a subtitled movie obviously won't have as many viewers. but even if you don't understand French, you will understand the humanity and humour of this movie!
