More and more I think people hear what other people think about a movie then just go along with the crowd and either hate it or love it agreeing wi what they've heard. I heard so many bad things about this movie that I expected it to be bad.
Now comedies are one of the most subjective art forms out there, but I enjoyed Seth's and James' previous comedies like This is the End. So I was pleasantly surprised that this movie was funny.
Many comedies barely elicit a smile or chuckle from me but I laughed out loud a number of times at this. Again I'm a fan of this type of crude humor, but it still requires good execution to make it funny and this movie did it for me.
