Review of The Interview (2014) by Angela G — 16 Jul 2015
An extremely brave and brash comedy but foolhardy to others. The brouhaha over the release and retraction and re release was because this hilarious political comedy lampoons the supreme leader of North Korea rumoured to be void of a A hole because he would burn up everything he ate and drank.
A film no doubt is offensive and a hostile provocation to Kim and his loyal subjects. If one hasn't visited North Korea, one would be taken by surprise how similar its landscape of snowcapped mountains and pristine forest is to Alaska.
The chemistry of James Franco and Seth Rogens was magic on screen. One cannot help suspecting their chemistry would continue off screen.
