Review of The Interview (2014) by Tormentor55 — 30 Dec 2014
Ok, this movie is more a STUPID comedy then a "Social satire." Honestly, if you weren't expecting a Stupid, goofy movie based on its stupid, goofy premise of two likeable journalists assasinating Kim Jong, then I don't know what to tell you, *face palm* Anyway once you've realized the stupidity of this film you realize that there are different levels of stupidity and once you do that that, you will realize that if there ever is such a thing as GOOD stupidity, this movie would be a perfect examples.
Not all the jokes made me laugh out loud but a good amount did and the several LOTR references made me smile. I bought this movie for $15 because I already had a good idea on how the movie would work and the type of comedy it intends on using.
If you have a stupidity tolerance SIGNIFICANTLY lower than mine I would recommend that you rent the film online for $5, it'll be worth the time.
