Review of The Interrupters (2011) by Silos I — 13 Aug 2012
Moving, shaking the foundation of belief that an individual cannot have large influence. Highlighting hope found in brothers helping sisters helping brothers helping sisters, that really is community. So beautiful to get a personal insight into these peoples lives.
We are human, and when displaced and robbed our humanity, we are pressed to respond in survival mode that sets aside logic. Robbed of hope, all humans will act with disregard. This film inspires one to try harder, spread hope, and most importantly believe in one self to be worth it; always keeping in mind the goals we have and consuences to our actions.
Community heroes these people!
